We recently visited the Rancho Las Palmas resort in Rancho Mirage with the boys. I highly recommend it if you're looking for that quick get-away, BUT, make sure your little one's are at least 48" tall. The resort has 2 -100 ft+ waterslides, but they require you to be at least 48" in order to ride.
