New Years Day

We spent a lot of the week of Christmas at Brian's parents home. Brian's brother Mike had flown in from London with his girlfriend Annabelle and since we hadn't seen him since April, there was a lot of catching up to do. Braden loved the fact that he could ride his big wheel on his grandparents 2 1/2 acres and the fact that he had an active audience of dogs wasn't too shabby either.
This is the only picture of Braden and his Uncle Mike. It's not the best, but I liked it. This is pretty much all he did the entire time, chase Braden around the yard.
Braden discovered his Grandpa's magnifying glass and was fascinated by it. Here he is trying to show Grandpa how to "get it into" a water bottle.







The night before Mike and Annabelle flew home we went to this great Mexican restaurant called Moreno's in the city of Orange. Brian and Mike grew up going here with their parents. This was the first time I'd been there and we willl definitely be going back. It was incredible. After dinner we were able to snap a group shot of everyone, something we hadn't been able to do earlier in the week.
