First trip to the Land of the Mouse

Well we finally did it! We took Braden to Disneyland. He loved it. We met Jeff, Mikey and Jordyn there and had a great time. He got to go on Pirates of the Caribbean, It's a Small World, and even the Haunted House (didn't even flinch the entire time in there).





Here are Brian and Jeff with Braden and Jordyn on their shoulders watching the character parade. Braden was amazed to see Mickey in person and not just on the T.V.







Braden LOVED the Dumbo ride. Anything that resembles an airplane is for him. He was so excited to watch the groups that went ahead of us and when we finally got onto the ride he was ready. Daddy sat in the elephant in front of us and got some great pics. before our camera died.




After Dumbo we went to the Mad Hatter and had to get Braden his embroidered Mouse ears. While we were there they told us that the embroidery machines are being replaced by computerized ones next week so the names will all be done by those. We were lucky too get it done when we were with the extra artsy touches they can do by hand embroidering it.


A good end to an exciting day. He lasted long enough to see the fireworks which were incredible!! Braden was pooped out and so were mom and dad. Little did he know we were going to Sea World the next day...
